To qualify for my scholarship:
- Your permanent address must be in the 16th Legislative District. (Please go to http://mdelect.net/ to confirm.)
- You must attend or have been accepted by a Maryland college or university, graduate school, or private career (or vocational) school either full or part time.
- You may attend or have been accepted by an out-of-state school and have been approved for a "unique major" not offered by ANY other Maryland institution as determined by MHEC by completing their unique major. (Allow 8 weeks.)
- You must complete the FAFSA by the required date.
- You need to show demonstrated financial need.
- You are required to complete and submit your application (available HERE Spring 2026) by June 1, 2026.
